At the age of 2 years, competed against the winners of classes from 1 year to 5 years old, mares, geldings & colts.

CHAMPION LED OPEN WARMBLOOD OF ALL BREEDS FESTIVAL ADELAIDE CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS 'SUPREME LED EXHIBIT' OF THE SHOW AGAINST ALL BREEDS

At the age of 3 years, he won Champion Warmblood exhibit, then representing his breed, competed against 28 other breed Champions, he won 'Supreme Led Exhibit' of the Show as voted by 6 judges.

AHWA APPROVAL FOR BREEDING

The AWHA classify colts between the age of 2 1/2 & 4 years. This classification ensures quality to the breeder as well as great bloodlones. There are 5 judges nominated from around Australia, all of whom have no interest in the colt. A score out of 100 is given for conformation, movement in hand, movement free & free jumping. Pass mark is 70%. Any colt scoring less than 5 in any section immediately fails. The colt must also pass a veterinary examination for soundness & freedon from genetic defects as well as a DNA test. Result "APPROVED"

AWHA "NATIONAL PREMIUM COLT" AUSTRALIA'S HIGHEST SCORE OF STALLION APPROVALS

Of all the colts around Australia who attained 70% or higher in 1995, 'Lontano' achieved the highest score to become the 'National Premium Colt'.

12 CHAMPION LED OPEN WARMBLOOD AWARDS

In led events at Breed Shows in South Australia, 'Lontano' has accumalated many Champion Open Warmblood awards the first before the age of 2 years

CLEAR MAIDEN D GRADE SHOW JUMPING

Commencing his ridden career, 'Lontano' is very talented at show Jumping & placing at many competitions.

CHAMPION RIDDEN OPEN STALLION OF THE GAWLER SHOW

A prestigious title, not long broken in, 'Lontano' won the Open ridden stallion over 15hh class, against 15 other breeds, then went on to compete against the winner of the 'not exceeding 14hh & over' as well as the '14hh & not exceeding 15hh' to become Champion Ridden Stallion of the Show.

AWHA PERFORMANCE TESTED "FULLY LICENSED"

The AWHA grants 'Licensed' status to those stallions with a performance achievement. This can be done in open competition before the age of 9 years, or the following year after approval status, which was chosen for 'Lontano'. Four judges from Australia was chosen, one of them being an independent Rider. Again the pass mark is 70%. The test is to ride a Novice Dressage test, Jump a D grade Show Jumping Course & ride a Pre-Novice cross-country course.

ADELAIDE HILLS DRESSAGE CHAMPIONSHIPS PRELIMINARY & NOVICE CHAMPION SCORING OVER 70% BEST PERFORMED WARMBLOOD AT DRESSAGE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Just after AWHA License status, 'Lontano' competes in the Dressage Championships. To obtain Chaampion at the Dressage competiton, the horse competes in 2 tests at the same level. The one with the most points (1st equals 10 points, down to 10th place with 1 point) wins the award.
